Silos can be equipped with load cells to control the stored material and the reception of raw materials. A load cell is a transducer that converts the force applied to it into a measurable electrical signal. Despite the existence of several types of sensors, load cells are the most common force sensor on the market. Load cell designs can be distinguished according to the type of output signal generated (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical) or according to how they detect weight (flex, shear, compression, tension, etc.).
Static scales are the basis for reliable and accurate dosing. They are generally used in auger dosing stations of minority and micro-ingredients. We design the scales in stainless steel taking into account the smallest detail and paying special attention to elements such as flexible joints or dosing valves. Each scale is specially designed for its specific need and function, under the customer’s specifications. Being able to be formed by several independent bodies, according to the needs of formulation and shipping.
