Our client needed to increase the production capacity of liquid fertilizers at their plant. The growing demand for their products required the preparation of larger batches while maintaining quality control, traceability, and operational safety . Available space was limited and the new facility had to be integrated with existing installations.
Technical Solution Proposed by Sagafluid
Sagafluid designed, manufactured and installed a complete system consisting of:
10 m³ reactor in AISI 316 stainless steel , with half-pipe for heating and thermal insulation.
Weighing system by load cells , with 1% accuracy, to guarantee exact dosing.
Dual agitation system : upper vertical hydrofoil agitator and lower Cowless agitator for high viscosity products.
Elevated metal support structure with walkway and access staircase compliant with CE regulations.
AISI 304 stainless steel pipe assembly for integration of hot water, cold water and products.
Control panel with Siemens S7 PLC and 12″ touch HMI screen, with automation of valves, weighing, recipes and agitators.
Drainage system with double diaphragm pneumatic pump and double parallel filtration.
Weightless vacuum bag manipulator for safe and ergonomic loading.
Optional instrumentation : Online conductivity meter for in-process control.
The design also included safety features (folding railing), sound insulation for vacuum pump and all CE documentation, engineering, mechanical installation and commissioning.
