A chemical company specializing in coatings needed a clean-in-place (CIP) solution that offered maximum operational safety in ATEX-classified environments. Their goal was to improve the efficiency of cleaning tanks and circuits without compromising personnel safety or interrupting the production process.
Technical Solution Proposed by Sagafluid
Sagafluid designed, manufactured, and supplied a fully equipped and certified mobile CIP unit for ATEX zones. The system consists of a skid with two tanks (rinsing and potassium hydroxide cleaning), a self-priming centrifugal pump, heating elements, an explosion-proof control panel, and accessories such as rotary cleaning heads.

Full ATEX certification (including valves, pump and electrical panel).
AISI-316 stainless steel tanks with thermal insulation.
Centrifugal pump with magnetic coupling.
Control panel with protected touch screen, Siemens programming and safe operation in ATEX zone.
Spill collection tray, transport wheels and flexible connections for easy integration.
In addition, on-site commissioning, cabling, staff training, and complete technical documentation were included.
