BACKGROUND:

Due to the growing demand, the client presents the need to expand its installation for the preparation of sodium hydroxide solutions by dosing water and 50% sodium hydroxide.

PROPOSAL:

Mixing equipment with a useful capacity of 4000l for dissolving soda at 50% with an approximate ratio of 2:1 (soda/water). Provided with centered agitator with deflectors, weighing system for the correct dosage, level, vent, cleaning ball and manhole in the upper bottom.

Equipment supported on a structure for unloading at a height greater than 1800mm. Sodium hydroxide dosing is carried out from 1000l GRG containers. Installation of a filling pipe from the lower area of ​​the tank for loading sodium hydroxide and water.

Unloading is done by opening the manual valve and visual control by the operator through the existing scale display.

Supply of equipment for heating coconut oil using an electrical heating system.

Loading: Using GRG containers cap. 1000l. Operator controlled loading system. Estimated sodium hydroxide loading flow of 6000l/h.

Unloading: Unloading by gravity without defined flow, governed and executed by an operator through supervision of the existing scale display.

Load Accuracy: Approx. 5kg with agitation running. (Dosage supervised by the operator)

Specifications: Lateral discharge of mixing tank with sufficient height to be able to carry out a final dosage on existing equipment with a height of 1800mm.

Deposit provided with the following accessories:

  • Agitator for heat transfer
  • Maximum capacity security level.
  • Weighing system in equipment for level measurement and process control.

Coconut oil heating system from 30oC to 50oC:

Maximum capacity: 3,000l

Product: Coconut oil (d=0.9gr/cm3 – Specific heat of 0.5 Kcal/kg)

Loading: Using GRG containers cap. 1000l. Operator controlled loading system. Load flow according to customer-owned equipment performance.

Unloading: Gravity unloading without defined flow, governed and executed through the existing scale indicator.

Lateral connection tank discharge with sufficient height to be able to carry out a final dosage on existing equipment with a height of 1800mm.

Deposit provided with the following accessories:

  • Rock wool insulation and AISI-304 stainless steel lining o Agitator for heat transfer
  • Electric resistance heating system.
  • Maximum capacity security level.
  • Continuous level measurement system for level display, control of resistance operation and agitation.
  • Temperature display and control by pt-100 probe.
  • Filling of the mixing tank through a loading system provided with piping and accessories. The filling of the tank will be governed by the operator through the load commands. Only subject to the security level that would cut the load to avoid possible overflow in case of activation of said level.
